چکیده

Quince (Cydonia oblonga) is a pome fruit belonging to the Rosaceae family and produced in temperate climates. The popularity of quince increasing year by year. It likely become highly popular near future. its leaves are rich bioactive compounds. In addition providing significant health benefits, different parts plant an important source raw materials, with applications pharmaceutical sectors. Micropropagation methodology that shortens time required for sapling material propagation field allows breeding species via genetic improvement. this study, vitro protocol Cydonia oblonga cv. Esme described first time. Apical shoot tips were used as explants. Effective sterilization was achieved 20% NaClO (12 min). terms nutrition medium performance, MS (Murashige Skoog) found superior when compared WPM (Woody Plant Medium) medium. highest proliferation obtained 4.0 mg/L BA + 0.1 GA3 added medium; however, not result satisfactory conditions elongation.
